A Change in Terms
MIL-PRF-81705F has superseded the MIL-PRF-81705E military performance specification. MIL-PRF-81705F sets the standards for military packaging intended to protect static-sensitive components — including circuit boards, assemblies, and microcircuits — from ESD, water vapor, and EMI. The military performance spec applies to all agencies and departments of the Department of Defense.
As a result of this change, our MIL-PRF-81705E Type 1 Class 1 MIL-SPEC Bags and Pouches (CALDRY 600M) are now MIL-PRF-81705F and ready to ensure compliance.
CALDRY 600M: Our MIL-PRF-81705F Type 1 Class 1 MIL-SPEC Bags and Pouches
CALDRY 600M is an industrial-strength, heat-sealable, moisture-resistant, durable barrier with static dissipative and electromagnetic shielding layers. Certified to MIL-PRF-81705F Type 1, Class 1 standards, CALDRY 600M comes in tubing, zippable bags, and roll stock that allows you to wrap and vacuum pack even your largest and hard-to-pack electronic components.
CALDRY 600M features a very low moisture vapor transmission rate (WVTR) and tear and puncture resistance of 32 pounds, making it the most tear- and puncture-resistant of any 81705F currently available. With multilayer electromagnetic shielding and electrostatic moisture barrier film, CALDRY 600M is a reliable option for packaging electronic components and military assemblies. To keep you compliant, our MIL-SPEC products include dates and lot numbers so you’re audit- and compliance-ready. CALDRY 600M is also conflict minerals compliant and lead-free.
