J-fold sheeting is a unique roll stock configuration with a fold on one side and offset lengths on the other. This configuration helps packaging converters maximize efficiency when producing specialty poly bags, including those with gussets, T-seals or side seams. J-fold roll stock and sheeting come in various polythene and laminate grades with an extensive range of thicknesses and colors.

J-Fold Film — Polyethylene

Polyethylene is a highly versatile, practical and economical solution for converting plastic film. We offer J-fold sheets and rolls in two polyethylene grades:

• LDPE: Low-density polyethylene (LDPE) is one of the most popular plastic materials, providing an affordable and flexible protective option for most product surfaces.
• LLDPE: Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) is a blended form of LDPE that offers increased tensile strength and flexibility with higher resistance against punctures and impact.

Our polyethylene J-fold film comes in black, white, clear and several custom color options.

J-Fold Film — Laminate

Our laminate materials use multiple layers to create a heavier-duty solution than single-layer polyethylene sheets. They’re ideal for more sensitive products requiring additional protection. Options include:

• CPSTAT 100: Our CPSTAT 100 materials feature five-layer, metal-in construction to help prevent tears and punctures while protecting items like circuit boards, processors and hard drives.
• CALVF4: CALVF4 is an exceptionally durable polyethylene Mylar material laminated to a layer of aluminum foil. This sheeting helps prevent food and other items from expiring or corroding.
• ULTRAFOIL 500M: ULTRAFOIL 500M is a premium-grade, foil-based laminate that offers a reliable barrier against moisture and potential contaminants for a broad range of sensitive components.
• ULTRAFOIL 1000M: ULTRAFOIL 1000M is a foil-based, corrosive-resistant laminate for heavy-duty military and naval settings, including machine and aircraft parts transported in harsh environments.

Many of our J-fold laminate film grades comply with MIL-PRF-131K CL.1 for greaseproof construction that shows no swelling, leakage, delamination or embrittlement.
